Job Description

The Business Analyst is primarily responsible for ensuring the Medical Drug Management (MDM)

business unit maintains proper Utilization Management state licensure and industry accreditations. The

Analyst researches, analyzes, and ensures comprehension of regulations and standards affecting the

business and ensures daily processes meet the intent of the regulations and standards.

• Maintain MDM policies in compliance with accreditation standards, client contracts, government programs, and state and federal UM regulations.
• Interpret, analyze, and process required information on initial and renewal regulatory filing applications and provide appropriate responses.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of licensure and regulatory activity; maintain master database and filing systems.
• Serve as main point of contact within MDM for all regulatory filing activities.
• Supports leaders in planning, managing, and executing projects initiated by new products and business initiatives.
• Provide support in investigation of regulatory filing issues. Investigate and respond to complaints and resolve issues as they are discovered.
• Investigate, analyze, and conduct licensure-related research on state and federal filing requirements.
• Recommend appropriate action based on initial research and findings.
• Coordinate MBDM client audit preparation. Responsible for audit document preparation, audit communications, audit responses, and post-audit corrective actions.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

2-3 years of relevant experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office( especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio)

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
