Job Description

Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Business Analytics assignments/projects. Works in collaboration with business leaders to provide strategic partnership in analytics, identify and prioritize opportunities for impact, develop analytic solutions, leverage data science and technology capabilities, embed analytics-driven processes, operationalize and measure impact, to support decision making and execution based on data, facts and analytical findings across different parts of the organization. Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders. Focuses on providing thought leadership within Business Analytics but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.

Hands on experience with UI/Microservices/API development using Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, API/Microservice call build, React/Redux, and SQL Exposure using oracle, Teradata, PostgreSQL. Experience with Maven, Git, JQuery is highly desired.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hands on experience with Web development using software tools like JQuery, JSPs, JSTL, Bootstrap 3, Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Packing – WAR/JAR, creating microservices, and authenticator for security.
• 3+ years of Java front end/API/Microservices/React Redux development experience.
• Experience with continuous code integration, and release using Jenkins, GemFire cache services / Session management.
• Must have a great understanding of SQL concepts and hands-on with the Teradata database
• Have experience with UNIX, Shell Scripting, Java programming, XML would be a plus.
• Experience of using JIRA for practicing agile development and test-driven development is a plus.
• Experience in software development in the cloud platform and exposure to Pivotal Cloud Foundry is a plus.
• Must be a current contractor with Cigna, Express Scripts, or Evernorth. Evernorth is a new business within the Cigna Corporation. 

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
