what is chevron’s vacation program?

The Chevron Vacation Program provides 12-weeks of paid vacation employment, giving students the opportunity to participate in our industry-leading oil and gas projects while acquiring practical skills relevant to your field of study.

We provide education and training during the program to help cultivate your skills within a diverse, inclusive, supportive and collaborative workplace.

Our team delivers IT and digital solutions around the globe to enable a wide variety of business activities from subsea exploration, to complex off-shore drilling, sophisticated LNG production, world class enterprise resource planning, and much more. We provide cutting-edge capabilities in data science and machine learning, and trial emerging technology such as digital twinning, augmented reality and artificial intelligence in our in-house innovation lab.

Following completion of the 12-week program, vacation students who consistently perform above expectations may be considered for full time graduate positions, where roles are available.

who we are looking for

We encourage applications from motivated and talented university students from Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, and Computer Systems & Network Engineering disciplines, with a keen interest in the energy industry to apply for our Vacation Program.

To be eligible for the Chevron Vacation Program applicants must be:

• In their penultimate year of an undergraduate degree or a postgraduate degree, graduating by the end of 2022
• Committed to Chevron’s values of diversity and inclusion, integrity and trust, high performance, partnership and protecting people and the environment
• Available for the specified duration of employment from 22 November 2021 until 11 February 2022
• Eligible to legally work and live in Australia permanently
