We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AI Project Manager to join LDC AI Center of Excellence (CoE). The AI CoE goal is to enable the experimentation and adoption of AI, at scale. In this context, the successful candidate will be responsible to collect and manage innovative project from our AI backlog.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external customers to identify, analyze and prioritize AI needs, problems, and business opportunities
• Conduct market analysis, research, and benchmarking
• Own end to end building a business case for selected innovation ideas
• Run proof of concept and pilot projects in close collaboration with internal IT service functions, 3rd party providers, and partners (vendors, start-ups, innovation labs).
• Lead cross-functional digital innovation projects from idea to scale up and integration into the IT landscape
• Maintain the portfolio of the AI innovation projects, tools, and ideas backlog
• Manage the relationships with the innovation ecosystem, external partners, and vendors
• Support internal innovation community with expertise and be a trusted partner to the business on innovation and digital transformation
• Contribute to the development of the AI CoE strategy and AI adoption efforts

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager.
• Proven experience in managing AI or ML-based projects.
• Experience in the financial sector, particularly in trading, is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams, in a complex, fast-paced, and international environment.

Other skills (Computer Skills, etc)

• Excellent knowledge of innovation frameworks and methodology
• Rigorous and eyes for details, ability to challenge status-quo and excels at critical thinking
• Ability to penetrate business needs across different business domains ranging from trading, logistics, industrial operations, finance, farming, food production, etc.
• Ability to conduct business analysis and interviews to identify areas for improvement
• Ability to conduct market research and benchmarking
• Experience in soft commodity trading, agriculture, or food industry is a plus
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure OpenAI services
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and how they apply to product development.
• Data driven mindset
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus.

Academics

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Certifications in AI/ML is desirable
