Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and establish a territory sales strategy
  • Establish strategic alliance and partnership with key individuals in the technical partner community
  • Establish senior and executive level relationships with current and potential clients
  • Work with clients to understand their requirements and orchestrate the sales cycle
  • Propose applicable and relevant offers, solutions and upsells to help clients maximize their investments and benefit from our full capabilities
  • Work with various procurement vehicles and respond to Request for Proposals in private and public sector
  • Review progress against targets and meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Able to connect client requirements to offers, articulate our services and benefit to clients for an engaging and successful sales
  • Develop and maintain client relationships at senior management levels
  • Develop an understanding of Adastra’s service offerings and work closely with practice leads to develop solutions for our customers
  • Prepare written proposals and deliver presentation to customers and stakeholders
  • Manage agreements and contracts with customers, suppliers, and vendors
  • Diligently use, maintain, and update customer information and opportunities and sales cycle using CRM system
  • Key account management of current clients
  • Work with technical practices and HR to identify and source the right talent, resources
  • Establish and stengthen technology partner relationships and be responsible for presenting pre-sales solutions to customer audiences
  • Establish strong relationships with Adastra practice/expertise leads and partners effectively to minimize sales cycle times and maximize conversion rates

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in account management, technical project management or customer success
  • Ability to translate complicated technical jargon for a non-technical audience
  • Strong technical knowledge and acumen of Data, Cloud, AI, ML and BI concepts
  • Experience in deploying Analytics and Data Management solutions, including Big Data, Reporting, AI and ML
  • Aptitude for building rapport and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to travel to client offices throughout the Eastern Canada and Ottawa
  • Experience in services/consulting and software sales
  • Superior presentation and public speaking skills
  • High level of energy and self-motivation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive self-starter who can operate as part of a team and individually
  • Must be willing to develop pre-sales technical capability in the Cloud Data space and present solutions to customers
  • Bachelor’s degree – Computer Science or Math is preferred
  • MBA is an asset
  • Bilingual (English/French) would be an asset
