The Automotive Vehicles team is searching for a Senior Autonomous System Architecture Engineer to help us bring NVIDIA's Self Driving solution out to the world and optimize it for China market. You will participate in a focused effort to develop and productize ground-breaking solutions that will change the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will coordinate with hardworking multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our AV SW platform, while achieving or exceeding all meaningful NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. You'll find the work is exciting, fun, and relevant.

What you will be doing:

• Drive and coordinate adaptation efforts to the China market.
• Manage and support technical, organizational and partner related development activities in and for China. Ensure their seamless integration in global development schedules.
• Steer, align and supervise these activities with respect to global project plans.
• Ensure project success by status reporting, coordination, resource allocation and in general proactive communication and project management practices.
• Initiate new & improved processes to unblock product execution.
• Integrate all partners in the global development network.

What we need to see:

• MS, or PhD in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or another related field. International education is helpful.
• Proven experience in systems engineering, autonomous vehicles, robotics. Wide technical understanding in related areas.
• Strong leadership, communication, project management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive alignment and ensure execution across large organizations.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience with autonomous vehicles and/or machine learning.
• Background with start-ups, Tier 1 and/or OEM, 3+ years working experience.
• Cooperation in global organizations and across interdisciplinary teams.
