To accelerate our customers’ AI journey toward delivering on the Generative AI promise, Dataiku offers a growing range of Generative AI solutions. From LLM chat to structuring and insights generation, our Generative AI solution range allows companies to quickly deliver tangible value across their business processes, and build trust into the real potential of LLMs.

Dataiku is looking for a Senior Solution Data Scientist specialized in Generative AI to join its Business Solutions team. Within an agile data science and engineering unit, the Senior Generative AI Solution Data Scientist will handle end to end solution building, delivering both fully fledged data science solutions and new dedicated Generative AI capabilities. Working with our customers, internal services teams, and the rest of the Dataiku Solutions team, the Senior Generative AI Solution Data Scientist will be at the forefront of materializing the Generative AI promise.

What you’ll do:

• Work tightly with the VP for Solution Engineering and other team members to build a strong Solutions roadmap dedicated to Generative AI. This roadmap will be fuelled by a variety of signals, including market evolutions, evolution of Generative AI practices, customer requests, successful service deliveries, and more
• Own the building and delivery of solutions and supporting Dataiku capabilities, from ideation to full delivery. The Senior Solution Data Scientist is entrusted with all activities from scoping to packaging of the final data product, including standard data model definition, modeling approaches, how to leverage LLMs and LLM choices and packaging. As part of these activities, the Senior Solution Data Scientist will work closely with all co-building customers, run detailed workshops to refine scope understanding, manage detailed research activities, and produce all needed documents to deliver scalable, easy-to-use assets
• Be a key stakeholder in the initial roll-out of resulting Solutions in the market: customer demos, customer implementations, partner training, marketing, enablement of all other Dataiku team members (ie. Data Scientists, Sales Engineering, …)
• Act as a go-to-person on Generative AI Solutions for Dataiku, supporting go-to-market activities from pre-sales to adoption as needed
• Be an active member of Dataiku’s Solutions Engineering group: support building of our overall engineering roadmap, contribute to capitalization and technical research for the team, own key transversal projects, and more

Who you are:

• 5+ year experience minimum, with deep hands-on experience in delivering data science projects involving Large Language Models. Capable of explaining technical concepts in a simple, business friendly manner, to test and learn so as to identify the best approaches quickly
• Curious, with a business outcome mindset, keen to close the gap between technology and business deliveries
• Proven track record of scoping and managing data-science projects in an autonomous manner. Strong appetite for data science use-case packaging, with an engineering mindset: keen to build effective user experiences for community of solution users and to develop strong replicable building blocks in tight collaboration with developers
• Ability to work in a global, distributed team. Strong communication skills, with capacity to adapt level of technicity and speech to a wide range of audience
• Appetite for client facing engagement and proven capacity to deliver top quality documentation and engagements
• Empathy for others and an eagerness to share your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues, Dataiku’s customers, and the general public
• 3+ years of experience with Python, hands on experience with data ETL, cleaning, machine learning algorithms and Large Language Models
• Experience developing WebApps (Javascript,Dash or RShiny..)
• Curious, eager to learn and explore, extremely structured and autonomous
