Do you want to be part of a team working at projects with potential to cause radical changes in existing industries? The Living Interfaces group is part of the Special Projects team and is working on disruptive ideas to transform diverse areas. To name a few, our members developed Project Natick (https://natick.research.microsoft.com/) where we built and deployed a full-scale underwater datacenter that showed reduced energy use and improved performance; also, we are working on a system using multiple depth cameras to provide real-time 3D Telemedicine at remote and underserved areas using Microsoft's Holoportation™ technology (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/research/project/holoportation-3/). Our new research challenges lie at the intersection of Large Language Models (LLMS) and Computer Vision (CV.)

The base pay range for this internship is USD $6,290 - $12,170 per month. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $8,060 - $13,240 per month.
