DESCRIPTION

This Software Engineering role will write software to support our internal researchers and scientists, as well as coming up with new workflows and documentation on best practices for the newly set up CLIA lab at our Headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software for our Laboratories
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages.
• Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s, PhD, further education or equivalent practical experience in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 5 or more years of software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages.
• Fluency in Go, C++ or Python.
• Previous LIMS experience/ Software written for Scientists and Laboratories.
