We’re also actively working to combat the spread of COVID-19 through new programs like Healthy at Work.

DESCRIPTION

The Verily Cloud Engineering team aims to assist Verily’s software teams be more productive by building multi-cloud infrastructure. We are simplifying and speeding up the developer and release management toolchain for building and deploying secure products to the public cloud. We’re a group of tool builders who measure ourselves by the satisfaction and adoption by our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and deliver solutions that address the needs of developers working on GCP, Azure, AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
• Create cloud agnostic microservices infrastructure focused on improving developer velocity, scalability and testability, at scale.
• Drive improvements in product development velocity with metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.
• 3+ years experience with Go, Java, C++, or a similar general-purpose object-oriented programming language.

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior experience with cloud deployment technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform or other cloud providers.
• Experience with micro-services, devsecops, continuous integration, release management processes.
• A growth mindset and willingness to pick up new technologies and domain knowledge to be productive in role.
