As an Application Development Manager you will oversee a team focused on building enterprise applications / platforms to support various business functions . You will participate in user workshops & requirement gathering sessions for potential solutions. Partner with Business analyst & other team members in visualizing the new application projects that will be taken on for development. This is a new team and you would be joining early in the assess and plan process to contribute your ideas to stakeholders of all levels.

Requirements

• Provide leadership for organizational and cross-functional applications and software development/support needs and projects
• Bring in a mix of Practice Development and Delivery Management plus some technical hands-on background
• Build the app dev/support process and practice grounds up, right from business engagement to intake process to templates to execution and deliverables
• Lead focused meetings and workshops with business audience to brainstorm requirements, solutions and approaches
• Lead and manage a team of App developers, PMs, BAs etc.
• Standardize tools and processes to create a mature, centralized approach to application development across business functions
• Agile Practices
• BRD/FRD/NFRD/Architecture/Code Review
• QA and Automation
• DevOps
• Plan and work with business users for their participation in proof of concepts and proof of technology exercises as needed

Highly desirable- Someone with exposure to PLEX platform
