The fully remote Business Analyst is responsible for collaborating with Business and IT stakeholders to support and ensure the delivery of IT applications and platforms. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the analysis, adjustment, and reengineering of different aspects of the systems and business processes. You will work closely with the IT and Business Teams to provide technical support and identify opportunities for system and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, harmonize data and decompose high-level information into requirement details.
• Analyze and document user/business workflows.
• Translate high-level objectives into feasible, testable, measurable functional specifications.
• Conduct gap and root cause analysis to identify underlying data needs and opportunities.
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders to elicit, document and refine business and functional requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
• Interpret, summarize and present data findings with recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain automated reports & dashboards with operational metrics and KPIs in Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Identify and address data quality issues – drive improved data quality in all activities related to the Support & Services Team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analytics needs, set priorities, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with business data analysis or technical product ownership experience
• Healthcare experience required
• MMX experience preferred
• Command of the process and basics of the Business Analyst role, best practices, templates, etc.
• Experience in mapping complex processes and integration processes
• Experience in SQL and dashboarding skills
• Experience going beyond number-crunching, reports, and dashboard creation -- ability to understand the business impact of the data and make recommendations based on your findings
• Experience with project execution and dependency management from tech teams to business users
