BlueHalo is looking for a senior-level Data Scientist to support our organization in creating a unified data repository and enabling the company with data analytics. BlueHalo is establishing this team as part of our overall integration efforts and we need talented individuals to make this happen.

In this role you will create connections into our data sources; develop and deploy Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes; and enable the organization with data analytics toolset and visualizations. You will be working directly with our Enterprise Architect, system stakeholders, business leadership, and data consumers as we build out our capabilities. As we grow the team, there are leadership opportunities for the right individual.

This position requires strong organization skills, a calm approach and investigative mindset to understand and interpret stakeholder needs and priorities, and a professional and creative view to enabling the organization with its data.

The position can be performed remotely but will require occasional travel to BlueHalo facilities throughout the U.S. to coordinate efforts and participate in team activities.

• You’re required to have this
• US Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, math, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years’ experience with ETL, data processing, database programming, and data analytics.
• Experience with various relational databases, data structures, and being adept in data transformation and munging or wrangling.
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Experience with programming languages (ex. Python, Java, etc.)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organization and project management skills.

You could have this:

• Current SECRET security clearance (or higher). If you do not have a security clearance, you must be willing/able to obtain a security clearance.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Databricks along with Azure Data Factory and Data Lake.
• Strong experience with Power BI.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) to enhance data analytics.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 stack, Azure, and GCC High.
