Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related degree or equivalent practical experience.
• People management experience. Technical leadership experience.
• Programming experience, and experience with system design.
• Experience communicating and working across teams.

Preferred qualifications:

• MS or PhD in Computer Science or closely related degree.
• Relevant industry experience from video or e-commerce industry.
• Experience working across organization, setting up the strategy and vision for the team as well as working cross-functionally.
• Strong people management experience including building the teams from ground up

Responsibilities

• Build a team of software engineers from ground up and manage them effectively.
• Help setting technical direction, review and influence ongoing design, architecture and standards.
• Be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects
• Work closely with product management team to build the vision and opportunities and to ensure we're building the best products
