Job Description

As a Data Analyst within the Yousician Team, you will have a direct impact on the growth strategy and company monetization tactics. Our products are using various monetization models, such as subscription model, in-app purchase model and ad monetization, thus we expect you to be the data expert for the team to excel in the mobile applications monetization domain.

Effective communication is essential for working seamlessly in close collaboration with the Product Lead and monetization team PM, providing actionable insights and enabling the data-driven approach to product development and initiatives prioritization, including the most impactful items such as roadmap planning support and monetization strategies optimization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Work as an essential part of Yousician product team
• Run quantitative analysis that supports app design decisions and feature roadmaps
• Proactively analyze app usage data to identify improvement possibilities
• Propose, plan, perform and evaluate AB tests for new product features
• Direct your team initiatives with the data support, analyzing and interpreting application data
• Help product team in transforming questions and ideas into concrete analysis
• Build and support impactful team metrics dashboards
• Collaborate with other data team members on extending the ways we use data to improve our apps
• Help to analyze, identify, and prioritize opportunities to increase ARPU, conversion to a premium subscription, subscriber churn and retention and lifetime value
• Design, create and conclude A/B testing initiatives to ship a better product that helps strengthen unit economics and grow the subscriber base
• Iterate on pricing optimisation experiments and price modeling
• Collaborate with engineering on the monetization data pipelines ownership, from raw analytics client/backend events to monetary datamarts creation and the BI layer support
• Participate in the Data Team processes and shared tools development

WHO YOU ARE

• Previous experience in mobile apps monetization, performance marketing or related domains
• You are able to tailor your communication style based on the audience, whether presenting to executives or collaborating with team members and other stakeholders
• You can simplify complex business problems and clearly communicate your proposals and findings to business stakeholders
• Business acumen, you understand the monetary value and the business impacts driven by the subscriber base and monetisation decisions
• Proven financial and marketing data analysis skills, basic knowledge of applied statistics
• Data visualization proficiency: we use Looker BI under the concept of self-service system, where analyst provide stakeholders with models and explores they need
• SQL proficiency, business metrics productization expertise with a focus on product/monetisation metrics modeling: we use Snowflake as a data warehouse, dbt for data modeling and Looker BI for data insights delivery
• Excellent knowledge of applied statistics and AB testing techniques: we use Bayesian inference, bootstrapping and other statistical approaches
• Great communication skills, both written and spoken

NICE-TO-HAVE:

• Econometrics background is a strong plus
• Modern analytics events pipeline concepts knowledge
• Marketing attribution and acquisition tracking setup and related best practices
• Programming skills in data modeling and data analysis (Python or R)
• Experience with Python data analysis libraries (pandas, numpy, scipy, sklearn)
