Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of analytical/project management experience, and/or sales operations experience within internet/media.
  • Experience in conducting data analysis across datasets, using database query systems, spreadsheet and statistical modeling software (e.g., SQL, R, and/or Python).
  • Experience in creating dashboards to surface insights.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or a graduate degree in a management or technical field.
  • Strategic consulting, sales support, and market research experience.
  • Ability to structure a compelling storyline and build presentation decks and briefing documents that support the narrative.
  • Ability to present to executives and communicate with management team. Ability to collaborate effectively with a broad set of stakeholders.
  • Excellent influencing skills across teams.
  • Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills, with effective written and verbal communication.

About the job

The Partnership Enablement team brings YouTube products, policies and content strategies to market across all our partner facing teams. Through this work, we help our partners reach their goals on YouTube within the context of growth, viewership, and content creation.

As an Go-To-Market Analyst, you will be working closely with the Product Solutions,Content Partnerships, and Strategy teams to identify and operationalize opportunities that help managed partners succeed on YouTube. Since you will have a high-level view of the trends surrounding key metrics that impact our managed partners, you will identify and create goals against opportunities to empower frontline partner-facing to drive partner success.

You will assess how the Content Partnership teams can drive additional growth for partners in specific regions or for certain types that are lagging behind. You will size these opportunities through rigorous analysis, stress test them through pilots and partner feedback, and design strategies to inform global roll-out.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret data, define viewership patterns and growth metrics, and deliver compelling strategy recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Identify opportunities across regions, verticals, and teams that help our managed partners (e.g., creators, artists and media companies) succeed on YouTube.
  • Deliver briefing materials for decision making forums with executives, with the goal of helping leaders understand business challenges/opportunities and drive alignment towards key actions.
  • Partner with Product leads and Product Specialists to define the right annual and quarterly product adoption and/or growth metrics and goals. Develop metrics-driven leads list criteria to identify and focus on relevant opportunities to managed partners.
  • Develop impact studies using test and control groups in order to establish program effectiveness.
