Job Description

• Should have 8-10 years’ hands-on experience in algorithms and implementation of analytics solutions in predictive analytics, text analytics and image analytics
• Should have 5 years’ of experience in Developing solution and / or leading a team of data scientists, works closely with client’s technical team to plan, develop and execute on client requirements providing technical expertise and project leadership.
• Leads efforts to foster innovative ideas for developing high impact solutions.
• Evaluates and leads broad range of forward looking analytics initiatives, track emerging data science trends, and knowledge sharing
• Engaging key stakeholders to source, mine and validate data and findings and to confirm business logic and assumptions in order to draw conclusions.
• Helps in design and develop advanced analytic solutions across functional areas as per requirement/opportunities.

Technical Role and Responsibilities

• Masters/bachelors in Computer Science with 5 + years’ experience in application of Computer Vision and Image Analysis and for LiDAR / Imagery automated processing and Analytical applications developing computer vision, image analysis and visualization algorithms in real time systems for image classification, detection, segmentation, classification, automated labelling, object extraction and registration
• 4+ years Hands on real-time experience in Deep Learning models for computer vision problems
• Demonstrated programming skills on Open CV / Matlab
• Expert level knowledge with Deep Learning frameworks TensorFlow, Keras, Fastai and PyTorch and Computer Vision libraries like OpenCV, OpenVino, SciPy, NumPy, TensorRT, CUDA
• Strong programming knowledge of Python or C++
• Good Understanding of Deep neural networks for 3D / LIDAR imagery implementation Data preparation, model generation and deep training, and then post image/video feed processing of the results
• Implementation of Machine Intelligence Lidar/RGB based big volumes and Knowledge of Advanced Image Processing concepts are needed in addition to ML
• Knowledge of git and version control and CI/CD Command over geometry, statistics and designing complex algorithms Drive to read research papers and implement new technologies
• Familiarity with NVIDIA's Jetson Board & Deep Stream Framework on Linux/Ubuntu machines
• Working autonomously is essential and Error handling A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets
• Data Ingestion, processing of structured and unstructured data in big data ecosystem – Hadoop, Spark and Spark Streaming
• Process data in NoSQL (Hive) and SQL (postgres) databases Data modelling and mining/ETL tasks
• Use programming languages – Python (numpy, scikitlearn) and Java Support UI/UX team working on web applications using css, jquery, javascript, J2EE, NodeJS, ReactJS
• Cloud experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
• Demonstrated strong capability in statistical/Mathematical modelling or Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence with Demonstrated skills in programming for implementation and deployment of algorithms preferably in Statistical/ML based programming languages in Python
• Sound Experience with traditional as well as modern statistical techniques, including Regression, Support Vector Machines, Regularization, Boosting, Random Forests, and other Ensemble Methods;
• Sound knowledge of ETL practices preferably spark in Data Bricks cloud big data technologies like AWS, Google, Microsoft, or Cloudera.
• Developing new practices and methodologies using statistical methods, machine learning and predictive models under mentorship.
• Carrying out statistical and mathematical modelling, solving complex business problems and delivering innovative solutions using state of the art tools and cutting-edge technologies for big data & beyond.
• Research and develop novel computer vision algorithms for implementation in real-time systems.
• Develop and implement LiDAR / image and video based algorithms for automated detection, tracking, and classification of materials and targets in LiDAR imagery. Optimize algorithms to overcome challenges presented by real-world data. Evaluate LiDAR image quality to drive improvement in overall system performance.
• Lead research activities for ongoing government and commercial projects and products. Collaborate on proposals, grants, and publications in the area of algorithm development. Collect data as warranted to support the algorithm development efforts.
• Work directly with software engineers to implement algorithms into commercial software products.

Education

• Required to have Bachelors/Masters/Ph.D. in Statistics/Machine Learning/Data Science/Analytics /Computer Science or Engineering from premier institutes
• Preferred to have PhD in Data Science/Analytics/Computer Science from premier institutes

Certifications [preferable to have one from below]

• Data Science certification from Top Institutes or AWS or Azure
• Good to have Data Engineering from Top Institutes or AWS or Azure
