Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of software development experience in C, C++, or Java programming languages.
  • 3 years of people management experience.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or closely related degree.
  • 10 years of relevant industry experience, including 2 years of direct technical leadership and people management experience.
  • 10 years of experience in battery powered computing devices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Battery Management Software Engineering team.
  • Manage, develop, and deliver projects.
  • Ensure typical Google standards for technical and product excellence are met.
  • Foster a team culture of inclusion, and provide or facilitate training for inclusion and skill development.
  • Interface with Hardware teams to scope out work needed to support device factory manufacturing tools and readiness.
