Job Description
We are currently seeking Engineers/Data Scientists to provide scientific and technical capabilities in direct, on-site support to a Battelle client in Charlottesville, VA. Battelle is supporting the Client's important mission of assessing foreign systems and forecasting future capabilities and battlefield effectiveness of these systems. The selected candidate will apply their technical expertise and work experience to provide our Client the science and technical intelligence needed to protect our nation's security.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be an integral part of the team that provides contextual all-source, worldwide, S&T finished intelligence on foreign ground weapons and on basic and applied research on emerging and disruptive technologies
- Investigate and analyze attacks on ground combat incidents
- Collect, analyze, and produce signature of ground weapons
- Perform technical exploitation of foreign systems, documents, and technologies
- Integrate all of the above analysis to protect US personnel, and to support operational commanders, materiel force developers, and policy makers through timely production of finished All-Source intelligence products that are compliant with ODNI Analytical Integrity Standards and the Client's Digital Production requirements
THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED
- Active TS/SCI
- Data Scientists will need a Masters Degree in Data Science or related field and 3+ years of experience
- Engineers will need a Bachelor's Degree in their primary field (ie Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical) and 3+ years of experience
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED
- Experience reviewing and assessing military ground technologies.
- Experience with all-source assessments for intelligence agencies.
