About the Position:

This is a new function, and our Sr. Data Analyst will be critical to our continued growth and success. In this role, you will partner closely with key stakeholders across the organization to develop dashboards, ad hoc analysis, and multi-unit individual reporting for our internal and external customers. Our ideal candidate is a detailed data excavator, expert communicator, and top-notch analyst. They will be wholly committed to the discovery and development of reporting and insights to drive material performance improvement for the business. We are seeking a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a no-job-too-big or small attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• A big part of this role entails demonstrating to customers the economic and health outcomes our product is delivering
• Utilize SQL and BI tools to create reports, dashboards and visualizations and provide the insight analysis based on the business objective
• Define the strategy for customer analytics, data exploration and internal KPIs
• Work to identify and recommend prioritization for cross functional reporting and data sourcing required to deliver against the need
• Own the process for managing data needs across the organization for internal and external consumption
• Identify and establishing BI tooling necessary to scale operations
• Develop both automated, scheduled reporting and accessible dashboards based on user type and access need
• Ensure data quality assurance for all reporting and effectively resolve issues with clear communication along the way

Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven experience in an analytics role, 2+ years of experience in a data science role
• Candidate should have experience developing and delivering customer insights (less focused on internal KPIs)
• Bonus if you've worked as a researcher in delivering Health & Economic Outcomes (HEOR) or worked in management consulting
• High proficiency in SQL, knowledge of relational databases, with ability to both manipulate and leverage data to produce insights
• Experience with BI tools and visualizations preferred
• Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Hands-on aptitude with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
• Intellectual curiosity to discover new approaches, tools, and insights
• Ability to collaborate cross functionality and function effectively as an individual leader
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Knowledge of Python preferred
• Preferred prior experience in a startup environment or client-facing/consulting experience
