Job Description

• Support new product & process launch validation with the use of Advanced Product Quality Planning tools.
• Lead problem solving to resolve issues & reduce scrap or internal rejection including conducting failure analysis.
• Establish gauge validation plans & analyze the results.
• Train on quality tools such as statistics, inspection methods, problem solving, process analysis & improvement.
• Be the Local Technical Specialist for in process measuring equipment & Key User for quality data systems.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities related to product & process quality with a focus on standardization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field combined with a degree in quality, industrial or mechanical engineering or in a data science discipline.
• An ASQ certification is an advantage as well as an extensive knowledge in the use & application of statistical process control. 
• We are looking for a motivated contributor with excellent interpersonal skills willing to work cross functionally in a machining environment allowing strong trustworthy network.
• A strong decision-making proven experience & influencing ability is key to drive necessary changes.
• Robust knowledge of quality inspection, testing data analysis, problem solving techniques & quality tools in metals machining industry is needed to coach & grow competencies of team members.
• The successful candidate will be proficient in geometric dimensioning & tolerancing as well as great knowledge of lean manufacturing with a proven experience in gear manufacturing, machining, CMM machining, programming & troubleshooting.
