Job Description

We’re looking for enthusiastic BI analysts who can contribute towards building revolutionary products in the sustainability domain. We’re in search of someone who demonstrates and eye for detail and shares the ability to help us tell a story to our clients using data.

Objectives of this Role:

We are looking for an analyst with experience in showcasing company data using well-defined dashboards to help us visualize and derive insights. To excel in this role, you need to work closely with the sales team and the data team to understand client needs and provide well-designed as well as ad-hoc dashboards. We work in an extremely dynamic and fast paced environment. You will work within the engineering team and be pivotal in deployment of BI dashboards to support the client requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and maintain BI dashboards using Tableau for the client delivery operations
• Work closely with the product, sales and data team members to understand requirements
• Write ETL’s to clean and sanitize data needed for the dashboards
• Write SQL scripts to collect data from different databases
• Provide statistical analysis of the data using visualization techniques
• Work in an agile team which focuses on delivering incremental solutions.
• Participate in scrum meetings
• Own the deliverables and be a part of defining and implementing solutions
• Be a part of an ever-growing team where your inputs will be valued
• Ability to scope ambiguous problems, understand them and implement the same

Required Skills and Experience

• BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college with 1-2 years of experience in Data visualization using BI tools such as Tableau
• Data mining and Data cleansing by writing ETL’s using Python or ETL tools like Talend
• Experience using Tableau Prep, Tableau Server, Tableau Desktop and User management using Tableau
• Excellent knowledge of Databases and Data Warehousing using Cloud technologies like Snowflake, Redshift etc.
• Excellent knowledge on SQL
• Excellent knowledge of database fundamentals
• Excellent knowledge of building dashboards using Tableau.
• Knowledge of ETL tools or writing ETL scripts using Python
• Strong analytical and statistical skills is a must
• Must have prior knowledge of working with data in the financial domain
• Excellent debugging skills
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT/SVN
• Good to have skills in machine learning
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in an iterative manner
