Job Description

What you will do:

  • Specify, design, prototype, and test server or in-vehicle products, including designing power solutions (AC/DC, DC/DC), distribution, and high-speed interface boards.
  • Involve in our next generation HPC’s development and verification
  • Drive performance and benchmark test for main components
  • Create and conduct testing plan and testcases during development cycle
  • Design and implement post-production verification procedure and scripts
  • Involve in system integration, verification and troubleshooting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with CPU, GPU, Hard drive, NIC bring up, diagnostics development and validation
  • Strong knowledge in x86, server motherboard design and application (architecture, design guideline, and specification), vehicle-grade design experience is preferred.
  • Specify, design, prototype and test products for servers or in-vehicle equipment; Experience in server power supply (particularly AC/DC, DC/DC) and distribution, as well as high-speed interface board, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Ubuntu/Linux operating systems and complete server testing and validation processes.
  • Ability to use design tools like Cadence Allegro and OrCAD, guide and oversee layout designers, and provide layout constraints (PCB design experience is preferred)
  • Experience in system hardware debugging. Experience using all types of electronic test equipment (Oscilloscopes / power supplies) Knowledge in Intel/AMD/Nvidia chipset, functional safety, and in-vehicle server product is a plus.
  • Knowledge in system debug is a plus. Working knowledge in PCIe/SATA/NVMe/OcuLink standard is a plus. Work with multi-disciplinary, multi-sites groups, external vendors, design and launch vehicle computing platforms and other equipment.
  • Coordinate effectively with various disciplines (SW, Mechanical, Mfg, Test) during project development
  • Preferred experience in CPLD, MCU, BMC function definition, and development.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively across disciplines and sites.

Salary Range: Your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range is between $116,875 - $200,000 for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
