How will you make an impact?

We are looking for Global PCT Business Specialist to join Biomarkers business within the Clinical Diagnostics Division (CDD). This role is responsible of analyzing and interpreting IVD/immunoassay market, epidemiological, price and customer data and report out findings in regular basis to guide decision-making supporting B·R·A·H·M·S PCT utility expansion and acceleration.

The role is responsible of creating reports and dashboards to clearly communicate key finding to the intended audience. This role works closely with Business Intelligence Manager, Product Management, Medical Affairs and Business leadership to identify best data sources and type of information depending in the topic. Person in this role will also support development and is responsible of maintaining SFDC customer and customer feedback databases.

About B·R·A·H·M·S PCT

B·R·A·H·M·S PCT (Procalcitonin) biomarker have saved lives, improved sepsis, Covid-19 patient management and antibiotic therapy with 30M patients globally. B·R·A·H·M·S PCT provides clinicians in the intensive care unit, emergency department, and hospital wards with a sensitive, specific, and STAT biomarker to aid in sepsis assessment for patients in or headed to the intensive care unit. In conjunction with other laboratory findings and clinical assessments, B·R·A·H·M·S PCT provides valuable information on the severity of a bacterial infection. It can be also used to aid clinicians in making decisions regarding antibiotic therapy, as well as differential diagnosis of bacterial infection and sepsis. Procalcitonin (PCT) levels can also guide doctors in their decision on the appropriate use of antibiotics, namely for how long the therapy should last and this way supports responsible use of antibiotics to prolong their effectiveness.

What will you do?

  • Analyze and interpret IVD market and epidemiologic reports with focus on PCT in a monthly basis
  • Collect data from various sources (internal/external database, web, 3rd party data providers etc) and identify best sources and type of information for each topic.
  • Excel data mining and analyzing to translate market intelligence into concise presentation formats to guide discussion and critical decision making for intended audience.
  • Analyze price and market share reports, create and update dashboards to communicate findings to key stakeholders in a monthly basis
  • Work with Business Intelligence Manager, Sales Ops and Commercial team to build and manage PCT customer base in SFDC (hierarchies, potential, PCT champions etc) and run reports and create dashboards to track performance
  • Support development and maintain customer and commercial team feedback database
  • Support market intelligence and research project vendor recruiting process, communication and guidance throughout the project
  • Collaborate across functional teams to provide analytics support for recurring business operating mechanisms, as well as ad-hoc, time sensitive requests to advance key initiatives.
  • Manage and support other projects and tasks assigned by manager

How will you get here?

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business
  • 2+ years of data analytics working experiences
  • Experience in a similar role within IVD market highly preferred
  • Strong analytical and critical logic, with degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Psychology or Mathematics
  • Solid technical background: skills with BI reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and data mining in Excel, PowerPoint designing
  • Comfortable with dealing varied data source/inputs, and detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally in English with all levels in the business
  • Delivery of high-quality outputs with minimal supervision
  • Working intensity attitude and results driven mindset, strong sense of responsiveness and ownership
  • Supportive and service mindset, collaborative working style and interpersonal skills
  • Proven fast learning capability and continuous improving mindset
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in working as a part of global multicultural matrix organization

Fluent in written and spoken English. German, French and Spanish language skills preferred.
