Job Description

Computational postdoctoral/research associate position is available for a highly motivated candidate with a background in bioinformatics and a passion for exploring the epigenomic alterations in cancer progression and therapy resistance using the single cell and bulk high-throughput ChIP-Sequencing, ATAC-Seq, Hi-ChIP, etc. approaches. Projects will focus on the biology and epigenomics of cancer, the mechanisms underlying targeted and immuno-therapy resistance, and the identification of novel epigenetic therapeutic strategies and targets.

A Ph.D. degree in an area of computational biology, bioinformatics, biostatistics, data science, or a related field is required. The candidate must have training in statistics and programming expertise, in particular R/Python and interest in the application of computational/statistical methods to complex datasets, relevant experience with single cell data analysis is a plus. The successful applicant will join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team and perform cutting-edge basic and/or translational research. The general research theme is to tackle biological problems with advanced computational and statistical methods. 1. Assists the physician in maintaining the functionality and operations of the Principal Investigator’s (PI) laboratory. (EF)
