Our data is at the core of everything we do, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Data Product Manager to join our team and help us build internal data tooling that serves our internal data consumers.

As a Senior Data Product Manager, you will be responsible for data democratization and increasing the time to value our data. You'll design, build, and manage the cross-functional development of a suite of specific data tools to serve multiple customers. You will also ensure the qualities of a data product, including reliability and observability, scalability, extensibility, usability, security and compliance, release discipline, and roadmap planning.

Responsibilities:

• Own the vision and roadmap of internal data tooling
• Collaborate with executive sponsors and leadership team members to define and implement the overall data strategy
• Lead the cross-functional development of a suite of specific data tools that are robust, scalable, efficient, and flexible, in line with the objectives of the company as a whole
• Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team spanning data engineering, medical/clinical expertise, data science, quality, and commercial/sales to drive a common objective and goal for the team
• Drive on-time and on-budget delivery through relentless prioritization, re-assessment of targets, and continuous improvement activities
• Incorporate research, analysis, and prioritization to increase the value proposition of our data products based on competitive analysis, customer needs, and market segmentation
• Design and perform user interviews and market research within the healthcare and pharma industries
• Manage data as a product development, backlog/roadmap, and associated measures of success
• Champion key product management best practices and process improvements
• Drive focus on producing high-quality data products and regulatory-grade documentation
• Support data quality improvement initiatives together with the quality team
• Scale up the reach of our data products

Qualifications

The successful candidate for the Senior Data Product Manager role will have:

• 7+ years of experience in a product management role in a data, software or SaaS product development environment (data, pharma, or data science experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of best practices on developing data and/or data as a product
• Strong experience with data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Understanding of data architecture and modeling
• Strong experience in SQL
• Preferred: Experience with an analytics programming language such as Python, R, Julia or others
• Preferred: Experience with modern BI or data viz applications such as Tableau, Preset, Metabase, Hex, or others
• Preferred: Experience with OMOP Common Data Model (OHDSI)
• Strong project management skills
• Strong stakeholder management abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
