What's the role?

Main Responsibilities are:

• Applies Local Insights, expertise and provides a human interface to machines by validating local data OR enables global solutions via Source evaluation, data pre-and post-processing, data quality testing, and local training data for machine learning OR provides local intelligence through spatial data expertise to effectively enrich the HERE Reality Index and enable the autonomous world.
• Independently work and execute complex map data projects, design and develop end-to-end processes for the map data analysis conversion and use of internal/external digital sources in the creation and maintenance of the HERE databases and related products.
• Provide extensive support within the DIA team, when needed, especially focused on map maintenance activities, customer-based program effort and process improvements
• Independently identify improvement and innovation opportunities and when applicable, drive them into the organization, dealing with possible resistance on the way

Who are you?

Position Requirements:

Must-have

• Typically requires a minimum of 2+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
• Geographic Background preffered - Geography, GIS, Geospatial Data Analysis, GIS Data Management Tools & Process
• Advanced Technical Skills in one or more of ArcGIS, FME, Machine Learning, Python. Strongly preferred familiarity with programming and scripting (SQL, Python), and ability to learn other tools and programming languages
• Fluent in English and Telugu, other languages are a plus, willingness and ability to travel
• Developed organizational and multi-tasking ability with a capability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work with virtual team or projects with a minimum supervision

Good to Have

• Strong presentation skills, Good command of storytelling and presentation techniques (e.g., slide making, data visualization)
• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
