Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. Your responsibility will mainly include prototyping and deployment of highly scalable machine learning and optimization solutions to address diverse business challenges. The role is cross-disciplinary and you will work closely with the Data Engineering and Machine Learning Engineering teams. We prioritize builders for this role.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain and enrich our state-of-art forecasting framework. It includes: building pre-processing pipeline, automated feature engineering, and adding new algorithms to the algorithm pool.

Assist in building end-to-end optimization solutions.

Develop algorithms for different cross-disciplinary functions (i.e: data engineering).

Develop integrations with different stacks (portal/internal dashboards) via building data-pipelines.

Devise and implement MLOps/Experiment tracking principles within the data science stacks.

Documentation of the R&D activities.

Required Skills & Experience: 3+ years of experience in data science roles.

Strong understanding over both statistical and machine learning based (GBDT, Transformer) forecasting algorithms Proficient in mixed integer linear programming (MILP) and convex optimization.

Proficient in SQL, Python and all other common data science stacks.

Experienced in relevant AWS Services (includes but not limited to ECR, Batch, Quicksight).

Familiarity with CICD (github action) and experiment tracking (MLFlow).

Strong algorithmic thinking capability

Desirable Skills & Experience: Experience in forecasting/Kaggle is a huge plus.

Experience in mixed integer non-linear programming (MINLP) and stochastic optimization is a huge plus.

Familiarity with Spark and dbt is highly desirable.
