Young Investigator, AllenNLP

Who You Are:

AI2’s AllenNLP team seeks a creative, postdoctoral Young Investigator who has a strong interest in natural language processing.

The AllenNLP team collaborates frequently with researchers on AI2’s other teams focused on commonsense reasoning and the Semantic Scholar engine, among others. Our main office has unique access to researchers at the University of Washington, only 1.5 miles away; our California team works on the campus of UC Irvine. Researchers excited about such internal and external collaborations are encouraged to apply.

 At AI2, you will be working with world-class AI researchers and talented software engineers. We perform team-based, ambitious research, with a mandate to strive for big breakthroughs, not just incremental progress, in an exciting and interactive workplace.

The Young Investigator position:

  • Duration: 1-3 years
    Start date: Flexible
    Candidates: Are within one year of completing their PhD, or already have a PhD
