 About this position

We are seeking a motivated Junior Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our team and drive the sales of our AI Generated Content tools as well as our enterprise products.

You will be responsible for identifying and targeting potential customers, understanding their pain points, and converting them into paid customers. You should be able to work independently and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Identify Target Markets: Conduct market research to identify potential customer groups and product market fit for both Embedding product and PromptPerfect, leveraging insights for lead generation.

Engage Prospective Customers: Initiate prospecting calls and emails to introduce our products to potential customers, showcasing their value and benefits.

Solution-Oriented Approach: Understand customer pain points and specific usage scenarios to tailor effective solutions, addressing their unique needs.

Build Customer Relationships: Develop and nurture strong, enduring relationships with customers, fostering trust and loyalty.

Achieve Sales Goals: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and quotas, demonstrating a results-driven approach.

Collaborative Marketing: Collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to create impactful sales materials and campaigns, aligning messaging with customer needs.

Represent the Company: Attend conferences and events to effectively represent the company's products, establishing a presence in the industry and expanding our reach.

Required Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.

Proven B2B Sales Experience: Demonstrated track record in B2B sales, preferably within the technology industry.

Technical Acumen: Proficiency in understanding technical terminology, particularly in the field of AI.

Communication and Negotiation Skills: Strong communication and negotiation abilities to engage effectively with clients.

Independence and Time Management: Capacity to work independently, efficiently manage time, and meet deadlines.

Customer-Centric Focus: Skill in identifying and comprehending customer pain points to offer tailored solutions.

Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong organizational skills with the capability to navigate complex challenges.

Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and industry trends.

Collaborative Team Player: Collaborative mindset with exceptional organizational skills to liaise across business functions and provide stakeholders with project and campaign updates.

Language Proficiency: Native German speaker or a minimum of C1-C2 German proficiency level, with fluency in English being essential.

Familiarity with Tools: Experience with tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Sales Navigator, and similar platforms.

 Hiring Process

Candidates can expect the hiring process to follow the order below. Please keep in mind that candidates can be declined from the position at any stage of the process.

  • The first round is the CV screening, candidates will receive an email that contains a link for booking the next round. This process takes a maximum of one week.
  • Qualified candidates will be invited to schedule a 30-minute screening call specifically on Zoom with one of our global recruiters. For engineering candidates, after this interview candidates will receive an email and be asked to complete an offline code challenge. On average the candidates can finish it in 30 minutes.
  • Next, candidates will be invited to schedule a 1h Peer Interview, in which they will present a case study, as well as their experience and motivation to join Jina AI.

We will collect the feedback from all interviewers and make a decision in a maximum of two weeks (on average it takes 5 working days). Then the candidate will be invited to another 15-minute call with our recruiters to discuss the terms of the offer.
