To deeply understand the power of data to generate quality

product and business insights, manage information, identify trends and make decisions. The focus for a Senior Analyst is to be proactive, take ownership for problem solving and to be a decision maker within Klarna, that comes with the following responsibilities;

What will you do

  • Proactively collaborate and effectively communicate with product and business stakeholders to develop scalable BI reporting solutions.
  • Have strong empirical and analytical background, with demonstrated ability to combine quantitative and qualitative findings in order to frame the right questions and measurable insights.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and statistical skills towards taking complex and unstructured business problems, and providing structured, hypothesis-driven and data-supported practical solutions.
  • Analyze performance, identify internal and external trends from data, troubleshoot issues, identify new opportunities and address ad hoc data requests.
  • Be a collaborative, cross-functional team player and be comfortable
  • partnering with a variety of teams from Product to Engineering to Business.
  • Be comfortable in developing analytics vision and roadmap for the team.
  • Foster innovation through continuous evolution of analytical frameworks and data solutions.

You should have

  • Outstanding oral/written proficiency in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Engineering, Computer Science or other quantitative related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data science or related field with a Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience with a Master’s degree.
  • Experience using test/control methodology, and using machine learning techniques (skilled in using one or more of SPSS/SAS/SQL/R/Python and etc.)
  • Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling - ability to build basic prototype models.
  • Proficient with one or more major BI tools including Tableau/QlikSense/PBI/PBIEE and etc.
  • Background in e-commerce product experience and payments domain is a plus.
  • Mandarin is also a plus.
