At modl.ai we provide AI tools for game devs that automate time-consuming parts of game development and enable AI and human co-creating.

What you will do:

• Work with our team of researchers and developers to create ways to expose and visualize the parameters and results of our AI Engine and Platform.
• Work with our UX and Product departments to establish simple flows to allow Game Developers to interact with our AI Engine.
• Collaborate with the rest of the Engineering team in code reviews, design reviews, and RFCs to establish best practices and standards with regards to our front-end stack and craft.

What you bring to the team:

• 3+ Years working as a front end developer or similar position.
• Deep understanding of Javascript/HTML5 stack and related technologies.
• Familiarity with templating frameworks like Jinja, React, Angular.
• Deep understanding and proficiency with CSS and other styling technologies to achieve the desired look-and-feel.
• Understanding of CI/CD techniques and tools like Git and GHA.
• A strong eye for design and a focus on user experience.
• Familiarity with agile development and scrum-based working environments.

What gives you extra points:

• Experience developing in other programming languages, like Python or C++.
• Experience with containerized environments for development (Docker, K8s)
• Experience developing interactive visualizations from complex data.
• Experience with the larger web dev ecosystem: WebASM, Typescript, ECMAScript, Dart
• Experience with Javascript optimization
• Interest in Games and Game AI
