Job Summary:

A Senior Data Aggregation Specialist will be responsible for managing resolution to problems that affect service and operations as it relates to Data Aggregation. Additionally, the associate will use data driven analysis to provide input to project prioritization and training efforts within Data Aggregation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Data Aggregation resource for onboarding projects and conversions of new firms as needed. In this role, works closely with the internal cross-functional project team and firm representatives to manage data aggregation provider setup and/or conversion.
  • Monitor and review daily download and reconciliation data to address issues and assist advisors in troubleshooting errors.
  • Work with data aggregation providers directly on behalf of advisors and firms. Open cases for issues that cannot be resolved and provides supporting documentation if required. Facilitate problem resolution and improve efficiencies and current processes.
  • Establish and maintain strong and cooperative relationships with client service teams to foster a cooperative environment for the resolution of problems and/or errors.
  • Provide support for internal groups working with firms/clients on data aggregation. Support includes, but is not limited to, research and resolution on account level issues involving data aggregation providers. This could include data feed, reconciliation, pricing issues, etc.
  • Help facilitate best practice process management with various operational and administrative areas of the organization, including making suggestions for improved client service, quality control, and risk management procedures.
  • Analyze trends in customer support needs to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Product and Development teams to build new features and fix bugs.
  • Build relationships and empathize with clients through mutual trust and understanding. No issue is too small for you to provide the highest level of care and attention.
  • Drive results and execution on key projects as identified by Management.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in the financial services or related industry with a client service background
  • Must have working knowledge of the securities industry, of various types of investment vehicles including insurance, and trading methods
  • Must have a precise understanding into Operations within the Financial Services Industry
  • Understands the terminology and processing requirements within the Investment and Financial Services Industry
  • Decisive and proven track record of driving results
  • Must be highly organized, possess strong attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and adjust to changing priorities
  • Ability to critically analyze information and make sound recommendations
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • Ability to create and manage change across business functions
  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to improve business outcomes
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and diplomacy and be able to work with a variety of personalities
  • Proven track record of effective verbal and written communication

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a product development company in FinTech domain
  • Agile scrum methodologies
  • Experience with RDBMS, data modelling
  • Experience in Financial Domain
  • Experience in Perforce and Version1 tools is a big advantage
  • Exposure to Analytics, AI / ML based application design and Big data technologies like Hadoop is an added advantage
