The Product department focuses on creating world-leading cybersecurity products and works closely with technical, marketing and sales departments. The main goal is to take our products above and beyond using cutting edge technologies and help organizations resolve their security related problems.

Competitive intelligence analysts are responsible for collecting, organizing and presenting data and insights about competitors from product and marketing perspective. They investigate a variety of sources about what the competition is doing, analyzes their narrative about product and features, pricing and offering. These can include competitor websites, social media channels, press releases, patent databases, market surveys, and many other sources. Competitive intelligence analyst is a part of the product marketing team, and their goal is to support and enable different organization departments like Sales, Marketing and Product. 

Core requirements

  • Strong analytical and research skills working with both qualitative and quantitative data;
  • At least 1 year experience in sales or marketing, understanding of communication channels and principles;
  • The ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders;
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to simplify complex technical information. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Implement standard competitive data collection and documentation processes from multiple sources;
  • Establish and maintain a knowledge base of competitive intelligence that is up-to-date, easy to use, and understood by Sales, Marketing, and product departments;
  • Conduct thorough analyses of competitors with a deep understanding of their business models, products, and go-to-market strategies;
  • Produce competition reports, battle cards, and concise communication materials that will enable Sales, Marketing, and Product departments;
  • Initiate and organize market and client surveys in order to gather insights that could support product roadmap, pricing, or feature communication;
  • Advocate Nordlayer’s product knowledge in the organization by being able to proofread product descriptions, features lists, and marketing materials. 

Salary Range

  • Gross Salary 1490 - 3470 EUR/Month.
