Our quest for a Senior Product Data Analyst is about more than just someone who excels at numbers and data-driven stories. We're on the hunt for a leader, a mentor, and a visionary. Someone ready to shape not just the future of our product, but also guide and elevate our entire product analytics team at Zello. Reporting directly to the VP of Analytics, this senior role is pivotal and based in the thriving environment of Austin, TX.

After a successful first year, you will have:

• Spearheaded major initiatives, leading to the unveiling of at least four game-changing product features in your assigned pod(s)

• Defined and set the gold standard for dashboarding systems across our departments, pushing for unparalleled clarity and impact

• Mentored and nurtured the product data analysts on the analytics team, ensuring they grow and contribute at their peak potential

• Championed more than 15 product experiments, setting best practices and consistently driving optimized results

• Fostered a deeply embedded data-driven culture within Zello, ensuring every decision is backed by robust analysis

What you'll do

• Stand as the epitome of data mastery, steering collaboration with product leadership, product managers, designers, and engineers

• Help build a scalable foundation for product analytics at Zello, building reusable data models, code snippets, and visualizations

• Decode and translate the most intricate of data insights, setting the strategic course for Zello's product roadmap

• Conceptualize, initiate, and oversee high-impact experiments, ensuring alignment on outcomes and deep, actionable insights from results

• Innovate user-friendly dashboards that set the standard for data visualization and accessibility

• Partner closely with product leads to crystallize product metrics, defining new analytics events, and success benchmarks

• Offer analytical leadership to various teams, from sales to marketing, ensuring they harness data in the most impactful manner.

• Craft compelling, data-rich presentations that not only inform but also inspire action.

• Mentor budding analysts and interns, shaping their growth, honing their skills, and ensuring a bright future for Zello's analytical talent

What you bring

• A seasoned technical background coupled with a proven track record in data analytics (5+ years)

• An unwavering drive to learn, excel, and champion team success

• Stellar communication paired with the artistry of presentation and data visualization.

• Hands-on experience with mobile app analytics, event funnels, and a deep understanding of optimization.

• Mastery in SQL, Python, and a solid grasp of data warehousing tools like BigQuery and Snowflake

• A genuine enthusiasm for A/B testing and advanced statistical methods, ensuring that each test is set up for success.

• Acumen in Mode Analytics, Looker, or other similar products
