Job Description

We are looking for a highly talented Business Analyst to join the Business Operations & Planning team in Music! In this role, you will analyse growth opportunities, evaluate strategic ideas and provide analytical support for initiatives, all with Music at its core You will work closely with Co-Heads of Music, Music Leads and other teams, and report to the Head of Business Operations & Planning.

What you'll do:

• Build business cases to evaluate strategic ideas and assess opportunities, and provide recommendations
• Collaborate with teams across Music and other stakeholders at Spotify to identify opportunities and build plans with their input
• Build financial models to evaluate business impact and resource planning for initiatives
• Drive analysis around organizational optimization and restructuring
• Create impactful and effective presentations and memos, focused on recommendations and findings, and present to key executives
• Provide the team with the insights and knowledge needed to drive decisions and define strategy for the region
• Monitor and capture insight on competitor activities
• Provide analytical support in other projects and initiatives where necessary

Who you are:

• 8+ years of work experience with direct consulting and/or internal strategy experience, preferably in media or tech industry
• A strategic problem solver with ability to transform ideas and goals into relevant plans
• Someone who enjoys getting into the detail and solving complex problems, while keeping a high level strategic view
• Excellent presentation writing skills and a great communicator and can frame complex ideas in easy to understand way
• Extensive experience building sophisticated, multi-year business plan models for high-growth and dynamic organizations
• Highly analytical, and able to synthesize complex concepts and information and you are able to independently and confidently develop and share your point of view
• A self-starter with the ability to work in a high degree of ambiguity to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
