Job Description

Coordinates IDSO imaging and pathology data science projects and initiatives. Monitors and tracks projects, shepherding them through their end to end life cycle, including collection of status updates, prioritization of efforts and identification of potential risks (for mitigation and contingency planning).

Provides oversight of clinical research protocol development, administrative and regulatory processing: collaborates with the physician, study chair or protocol sponsor regarding protocol design, planning, implementation, modification and evaluation.

Coordinates departmental efforts toward institutional programs.

Coordinates with outside agencies and institutions to facilitate departmental program objectives.

Organizational Skills

Liaison with the protocol research administration offices; assures that all clinical research conducted by the department complies with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) or federal guidelines.

Develops and facilitates meetings, lectures or seminars; coordinates logistics, scheduling, travel, information packets, participant communications, and CME accreditation as needed. Creates, edits and formats PowerPoint presentations, flyers, fact sheets, white papers, posters and other presentation materials needed.

Coordinates faculty recruitment and visitor travel including itineraries, meetings, and lectures.

Assists with orientation and training of new employees.

Professionalism: Oral and Written Assists with preparation of reports and other documentation required for the department.

Assists in the creation and update of policies and procedures.

Assists in the development of educational materials, tools and resources.

Coordinates activities required for timely submission of grant applications. Maintains current faculty curriculum vitae, biosketch, and other support information within FA1.

Assembles and disseminates meeting agendas, captures and disseminates detailed meeting minutes and action items, and performs any necessary post meeting follow up.

Maintains and updates content for program websites and promotional materials.

Other duties as assigned

Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.

Preferred Certification: Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.

Experience Required: Three years project/program coordination experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. With preferred degree, one year of required experience.

Preferred Experience: Experience working in a medical research institution preferred.
