The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Data Developer III who independently can drive forward enterprise data projects related to ETL Development, data triage, master data management, SQL development, data reporting, or other related data initiatives. 

Day in the Life

• Develops and reviews SQL, T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and SSIS workflows for various reporting and data development projects. 
• Uses advanced database knowledge to monitor, identify, problem solve, and correct ETL (SSIS/ADF) defects in order to maintain fully functioning application software.
• Develops and reviews complex Azure Data Factory and Snowflake pipelines for various reporting and data development projects.
• Utilizes senior knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling methodologies, tools and best practices to continuously improve the data management landscape to be on the cutting edge.
• Advanced skills in the development, implementation, and maintenance of data warehouse to extract, transform, and load data with security as a critical design requirement. 
• Ability to analyze enterprise level data sources and determine relationships between those sources as well as determine methodologies for integration with 3rd party data sets.
• Mentor and guide junior data professionals on data best practices and standards in order to grow their depth and breadth of the data platform. 
• Participates as a Data SME with the team in Agile ceremonies to drive effective communication, feedback, and innovative thinking in the development process. 

Experience:

• College degree in CIS, Data Management, Data Analytics or equivalent training and/or experience.
• 7+ years’ experience working in a data function or equivalent position where primary responsibility is working with data, SQL Server database design and ETL development as the primary responsibility.
• Experience in Azure and/or Snowflake data environments are a plus.
