Job Description

Curai’s mission is to scale the world's best healthcare for every human being. We are building a patient-facing service using AI/ML to improve the quality and lower the cost and friction of high-quality health care. We use different AI approaches including Deep Learning, Probabilistic Graphical Models, and Knowledge Base construction, and borrowing methods from areas like natural language understanding and computer vision. We are pushing the frontier of AI in healthcare while also creating a product that people love to use.

Curai is an early-stage startup with a small, but top-notch team that includes senior engineers, researchers, and leaders previously from companies like Google, Facebook, and Netflix. We also have research partnerships with leading universities in the country, and access to medical data that facilitates research in this space.

As a product data science intern, you will work closely with our product data science team and the rest of the product development team on projects related to the following areas: developing key metrics that guide our product development, designing A/B tests, generating actionable insights, and understanding the critical ways in which our product works and what will enable us to achieve our mission.

An Ideal candidate has:

• 3+ years of practical Data Science experience
• Degree in a quantitative field
• Experience generating insights using statistical techniques (e.g. regression, hypothesis testing)
• Demonstrated proficiency in using a programming language (e.g. SQL, Python) to manipulate, clean, and analyze data
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong sense of judgment and how to combine quantitative skills with intuition and product sense
• Experience working with large data sets and distributed computing tools (e.g. Google BigQuery)
• Experience in data engineering
• Exposure to digital healthcare products and industry
• Ability to build dashboards and other tools using front-end development skills
