Role and Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and systems. Your expertise in data engineering will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven solutions and empowering our team of analysts and consultants. Your responsibilities will include:

• Data Architecture: Designing and implementing scalable and robust data architectures that cater to diverse business needs and analytical requirements.
• Data Integration: Building efficient and reliable ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data ecosystem.
• Data Quality and Governance: Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the data lifecycle and implementing data governance best practices.
• Performance Optimization: Fine-tuning and optimizing databases, queries, and pipelines for improved performance and efficiency.
• Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions that drive business value.

Qualifications and Skills:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in data engineering technologies, including SQL, Python, ETL frameworks, and data modeling concepts.
• Data Architecture: Demonstrated experience in designing scalable data architectures and proficiency in working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex data challenges and develop innovative solutions that align with business objectives.
• Collaborative Mindset: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, this role requires four days a week in our Seattle office.
