TrueAccord is growing at a prodigious rate. Our systems are reaching challenges of scale as we approach tens of millions of transactions per week. In response to the onboarding of large clients and new features, some systems are actively evolving while others are being rebuilt from scratch.

The Position:

Engage is a nascent, fast-growing consumer SaaS product for individuals looking to get out of debt and achieve financial wellness. Built on top of the consumer trust that TrueAccord has successfully developed since 2013, Engage paves a path to financial well-being for millions of consumers. In this position, you will have a pivotal role in shaping Engage’s future. You will be working closely with Engage’s technology leadership, scaling up Engage’s platform, and bringing new financial products to life. We are looking for a Software Engineer with a consistent track record of making productive development decisions. We are a highly accountable team that owns our whole stack. We are looking for someone who can navigate everything from backend infrastructure to frontend.

We are a small, highly-productive engineering team that appreciates clean and elegant solutions to large and messy real-world business problems. This is a great opportunity to join an engineering team of a successful fast-growing start-up that is transforming the industry while expanding your software engineering skills.Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead a stream of work from design, testing, implementation, and maintenance once released
• Implement new features, working in both front-end and back-end
• Design and develop fault-tolerant, user features backed by multiple services
• Work closely with product and business owners to collaborate on requirements
• Write infrastructure code, and work with DevOps to validate production changes
• Embrace an environment that is changing quickly by learning new things and contributing new ideas
• Mentor other engineers, effectively communicate complex systems simply
• Contribute to overall engineering initiatives including recruiting and the evolution of our tech stack

• Expert in building REST APIs in Python
• Export in relational databases
• Strong hands-on experience in cloud technology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work within a team setting and work multi-functionally
