We are seeking a highly qualified Machine Learning Intern to join our team. Pika Group is a fully distributed workforce and the compensation is equity based. This position will require the individual to work with all aspects of the engineering team, helping to improve the accuracy and completeness of our models.

Position Description:

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models
• Design advanced neural network training strategies
• Generate and maintain design documentation
• Work closely with a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team of engineers

Qualification:

• 2+ years’ experience programming Python
• Deep learning/neural network knowledge

  2+ years’ experience with relational databases and SQL programming

• Experience with Google Cloud, AppSheet, Keras, Panda, numpy, scipy, PyTorch and Tensorflow is a plus
• Solid communication skills
• Currently enrollment in relevant program
• Legal authorization to work in USA
• Time series forecasting experience desired

Requirements:

• Minimum GPA of 3.5
• Must have computer science/programming background
• Must have taken a machine learning course
• Top 25 Computer Science school
• Willing to work for a fully distributed remote company
• Part-time for nine months during the school year @10 hr./week or full-time @40 hr./week for 3 months
