Job Description
The Machine Learning Team at Symbotic is expanding, and we’re looking to hire an intern for an extended period to extract insight from data generated by robots. The intern will assist in the development of a predictive health monitoring application for mobile autonomous robots.
Responsibilities
- Working with site operators to track robot localization issues, and label corresponding data
- Prototyping of clustering algorithms identifying and localizing contaminants by aggregating robot log data
- Implementing these algorithms in a Python application in cloud-hosted or virtualized environments.
- Development of a data collection and labeling procedures
- Prototype clustering algorithms to identify common experiences among multiple agents
- Design and implementation of a Python-based application to ingest new log files & process data according to the developed algorithm
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate profile is a graduate student studying data science or machine learning with a CS/EE background and Python experience
- Strong programming skills
- Experience with cloud-hosted environments a plus.
