What are we looking for?

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Engineer to join our DSP team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, data models, and infrastructure that support the DSP platform's data requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and software engineers, to ensure the efficient and accurate processing of large-scale data sets. As a Data Engineer, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our data systems, drive innovation, and provide actionable insights to support business growth.

What will you be doing?

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to process, transform, and load large volumes of data from various sources into the DSP platform.
• Data Modeling and Architecture: Design and implement robust data models and schema for efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of structured and unstructured data.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize data processing and querying performance to ensure fast and efficient data retrieval and analysis.
• Data Quality Assurance: Implement data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data throughout the data lifecycle.
• ETL Process Automation: Develop and maintain automated Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes to streamline data integration and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor data infrastructure and systems for performance issues, identify and resolve data-related problems, and ensure high availability and data integrity.
• Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, provide technical expertise, and document data engineering processes and best practices.
• Data Governance and Compliance: Implement data governance and compliance practices to ensure adherence to data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven work experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the advertising technology industry.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with big data processing frameworks and tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Flink.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, data warehousing principles, and data integration techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex data-related issues and propose effective solutions.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, data streaming, and real-time data processing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
