Position Summary

The Data Science Intern will have opportunities to gain knowledge and experience in developing, enhancing, and implementing predictive models and data methodologies for syndicated and custom targeting solutions. The Data Science Intern will be able to work with a collaborative team of skilled and experienced Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Data Engineers to create quality data products and deliver useful insights for Claritas clients.

Primary Responsibilities

Work with and manipulate data, and develop models and analyze raw data from a variety of sources

Conduct and define in-depth analysis to make business recommendations

Help provide sound methodology and approaches for data product enhancement and new product development

Assist in data product updates and quality checking using statistical analysis and Claritas proprietary methods

Required:

• Working towards completion of Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Coursework in Statistics, statistical training
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent collaborative and influencing skills
• Desire to work in a team environment in a remote setting
• Excellent organizational skills with high degree of attention to detail
• Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Highly preferred:

• Programing skills, database/datalake knowledge and experience in virtual environment, such as server or cloud
