Job Description

We are looking for brilliant and independent software developers, with initiative and willingness to create and shape a completely new software department. If you are a self-starter, able to learn new technology quickly and happy to work on a broad range of technologies - this is a job for you.

Your job in Digica would mean:

• developing and maintaining features in Web applications
• designing systems architecture and best practices for web development in the company, (therefore you need to have SOLID understanding of best practices, processes and design patterns in software development),
• delivering high-quality code, which is both functional and performant,
• integrating existing and under development machine learning solutions into the systems you create,
• reviewing code and software testing.

Qualifications

• minimum 2 years’ experience as Python Developer,
• experience with Backend Frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django
• An additional asset: 
• experience with one or more frameworks (Ember, Angular, Backbone, React)
• experience with cloud computing (AWS)
• experience with Docker
• independence, initiative and skills to perform as one of the founders of software development department,
• general awareness of web application performance & architecture best practices,
• fluency in English, as most of the clients are international,
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• analytical mind and problem-solving approach

Additional Information

Description
This role is a hands-on software engineering work, requires knowledge of the latest technologies, but also an internal drive for designing systems, tuning, troubleshooting and scaling them using latest cutting-edge technologies.

Education
A degree (or last year's study) in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Electronics or similar.
