Job Description

Aurora is looking for talented people to help build a transportation ecosystem that will make our roads safer, get crucial goods where they need to go, and make mobility more efficient and accessible for all.The Autonomy Analytics Team is responsible for making sure that users have the tools they need to measure autonomy developmental, operational, and commercialization metrics.

Provide self-service solutions to understand on-road progress and offline performance through robust metrics. Building tools and web applications to deep dive on-road and offline performance at scale

In this role, you will

• Build pipelines & services to create, handle or organize a continuously growing amount of developmental, operational, and commercial data

• Surfacing aggregate measurements in dashboards and web applications

• Coordinating with other teams to clarify & understand the projects to be delivered, and with other team members to collaborate & distribute work

• Ensuring that our production systems represent the state of on-road and offline available data

Required Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of industry experience for BS and MS

• Comfortable programming in Python

• Experience with relational databases and SQL

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, GCP)

Desirable Qualifications

• Analytics tooling (dbt)

• JavaScript

• Frontend frameworks, e.g. React

• Data visualization (Sisense, Tableau, QuickSight etc.)

The base salary range for this position is $168,000-$252,000 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
