Job Description

Internship : Leveraging Large Multimodal Transformer Models for Deepomatic Applications

Deepomatic works with companies who install or maintain equipments on the field. We develop an AI platform which allows our clients to automatically control the quality and compliance of the field workers operations thanks to pictures taken at key moments. The goal is help field worker to succeed their task without having to come twice on the installation site, thus ultimately improving productivity and quality of service for the end user.

The Research and Development team, which is responsible for developing and maintaining computer vision algorithms available on the platform, is offering a 5-6 month internship opportunity to leverage the power of Large Multimodal Transformers Models for Deepomatic applications.

The goal of this internship is to explore the newly released architectures that mix modalities of images and text, and firstly apply them to simple computer vision tasks in a zero shot fashion. The next step will be to fine tune and adapt the output to Deepomatic use cases.

This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the AI landscape and work with a team of experts in the field.

Job requirements

• Strong understanding of Deep Learning algorithms for Images and Text (CNN, Transformers)
• Good programming skills with Python and Deep Learning frameworks (Tensorflow/ Keras, or Pytorch)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong appetite for applied research
• Good written communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Great human qualities and a love for teamwork
