Job Description

Perplexity AI is looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our small team revolutionizing the way people search and interact with the internet. You will be responsible for turning the latest advances in AI into products for our users.

Our stack includes TypeScript, React, Python, Docker, Azure, AWS, GCP. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, an interest in search and large language models, and an ability to work up and down the stack: from monitoring process behavior on cloud instances all the way to writing performant and reusable React components.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and scale our suite of applications as Perplexity grows

• Monitor, debug, and fix technical issues with deployed applications

• Collaborate with team members (researchers, engineers, product managers, and designers) to fill in gaps and ship product

• Improve both the speed and quality of our code base and engineering processes

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills, with versatility across the whole stack and an ability to pick up new languages and tools quickly

• Track record of successfully working in similar roles

• Enthusiasm and independence, with a willingness to dive in and take ownership of tasks

• A passion for shipping

• 4+ years industry experience

$160,000 - $220,000 a year

Compensation and Benefits

Perplexity AI’s compensation package consists of: salary, equity, and benefits.

• The expected salary range for this position is $160K-$220K
• Equity - On top of this position's salary, equity will be a component of the total compensation.
