Job Description

We are looking for a well-rounded Data Scientist that has an academic and applied background in statistics and machine learning, along with proficient English speaking and writing skills.

This role is very dynamic and diverse requiring specific analytic, mathematic, programming, and statistical skills utilized in the execution of data analysis, statistical modeling, applying analytic solutions and reporting for clients. Analytics related to both online and offline marketing primarily B2C, B2B experience a plus.

Location: Lomas Atlas, Mexico City, MX

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in analytics, data science, statistics, computer science or related field, 5+ yrs experience, along with strong business acumen.
• Proficient English speaking and writing.
• Strong experience with machine learning predictive models, clustering (segmentation), and data visualization.
• End-to-end experience developing approach/methodology given business need – ETL/EDA, data quality analysis, model development and, scoring, preparation, presentation of results and deployment into production environment.
• Experience with a variety of analytical environments especially GCP, also AWS, Azure, including strong experience with Python, R, SQL…Plus Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint.
• BigQuery and Vertex AI a plus.
• Experience with both 1st party and 3rd party data a plus.

• Passion/Curiosity around newer techniques, ie deep learning

What you will do:

• As part of the Data Science and Analytics Team, the Data Scientist will lead the charge in developing machine learning and statistical models to support and expand the Audience Propensities product suite for our domestic and global businesses.
• The Data Scientist’s responsibilities will include 1) partnering with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define digital product scope and requirements, 2) building models, analyzing/visualizing the results and integrating the solution into our suite of data products, 3) developing new analytical reports to help us better understand our data.
